Our water atomization line is the SMI Super PoleCat family of products. PoleCats atomize water through 30 nozzles and efficiently throws water spray over 200 feet (60 meters). The machine operates best at higher water pressures (from 70 to 500 psi) but optimum operating pressure is between 80 and 100 psi. An optional water filter is available to help with pre-filtering.
Evaporation rates are dependent on many factors such as ambient temperature, relative humidity, elevation, solar exposure and water temperature. Customers have typical evaporation rates between 20% and 80%. Therefore, evaporation amounts between 20 and 80 gpm are achievable.
The SMI¨ PoleCat Evaporators are typically purchased mounted on a wheeled carriage for mobility but can also be purchased mounted on a non-wheeled frame or on a tower. Options for this line of products include filters, fittings and oscillation.
